Manchester United left-back Luke Shaw is set for a new contract after enduring the worst start to his United career.
The England international joined the Red Devils from Southampton in 2014 but things didn’t work out as planned for the 23-year-old full-back.
Luke Shaw has failed to make up to 20 appearances last season, however, that might change in this season considering his brilliant start to the campaign.
Though Mourinho’s men registered one of their worst start to the season throughout last month, Shaw pulled up a very convincing performance.
His bright start to the season hasn’t gone fruitless as he was called up by England manager Gareth Southgate for their clash with Spain, which ended 2-1 in favour of the former World Champions.
There is another good news for the fullback as report via Daily Star suggested that the Red Devils are set to offer him a deal which will see him receive £150k as weekly salary.
Shaw’s current contract is set to expire by the end of this season and United are not ready to let him go as a free agent in the summer.
In other news, Luke Shaw is reportedly injured after colliding with Dani Carvajal during England’s 2-1 defeat to Spain yesterday.
The defender, who was enjoying a great night with the Three Lions, was replaced in the early hours of the second half after picking up what looks like a neck injury
