Chelsea’s and Brazil’s Willian finally responded to speculations about his leaving the club.
Willian has made a huge impact with the club but the suave player who is regarded as one of Chelsea’s finest winger had issues with the club after losing his place under Antonio Conte.
The then Chelsea boss had waited patiently for Willian to improve since he came back with a shocking news from Brazil.
Pedro was at his best while fighting for his position in the first XI and he had convinced Conte often times.
Speculation arose that Willian wasn’t happy about Conte’s decision and that he was planning to leave the Blues if drastic measures were not taking.
Few months after Conte got sacked, then came in Maurizio Sarri who has really developed Willian in his attacking minded game which made the Brazilian very comfortable.
In an interview held in Brazil over his decision, the £120-a-week player came out to tell the club that he was not even thinking of leaving the club and his happy to be with the Blues:
“Always I say that I want to stay at Chelsea as long as possible, and I am happy to stay here.” Said Willian.
Willian started three out of four matches under the 59-year-old manager and has assisted one goal.
Chelsea will welcome Cardiff City on Saturday in the English Premier League as we look forward to continuing our 100 per cent winning form.
I am willing to discuss with him about his future – Sarri
