Manchester United record signing and World Cup winner Paul Pogba has been linked to another club during the summer when the player disclosed his frustration of playing under his club manager Jose Mourinho before returning to Old Trafford after the solo victory in Russia.
Report showed that Pogba initially developed an interest to join Spanish elite Barcelona but Mourinho refused to let him go.
There is still speculation about Pogba leaving the club and all that remains is for the Red Devils to buy a creative box-to-box midfielder in Adrien Rabiot.
Rabiot has been linked with a move to Liverpool after refusing to sign a new contract as he eyes the exit door if the terms he offered are not met.
The French player sort for a pay rise, Rabiot has featured in all five appearances in French League 1 under his current manager Thomas Tuchel, scored and assisted one goal.
Rabiot missed the World Cup in Russia which sprung up his frustration of not being used frequently under then manager Unai Emery.
Rabiot is also a creative player who can hold the ball to find small gaps as he also has eyes for goal.
The versatile midfielder could be in Mourinho’s plan should Pogba choose to leave the club during next summer or when his contract expires.
