Georges St-Pierre, says he is waiting for a ‘good fight’

Former middleweight and welterweight champion Georges St-Pierre has proved his fans wrong after stating that he wasn’t keen on fighting the winner between McGregor or Khabib Nurmagomedov slated to fight in Las Vega come October 6 in UFC 229.

According to Georges:
“I didn’t say I was going to do it… People headlined me the wrong way, to sell articles. That’s the society we live in.“.

After Georges posted his picture on social Media, his fans were inquisitive when they noticed he had slimed down probably because of his preparation for the battle against the winner.

But he openly came out to explain why he did so when he said that his previous fight with Bisping was disastrous because he ate a lot of food that made him so fat and he was even about throwing up. So he chose to be cautious about his health.
St-Pierre is yet to fight since 2017, after coming out of four-year suspension to submit middleweight title-holder to Bisping at UFC 217.
According to St-Pierre
“I don’t want to sign a contract for a fight right now,”
He also added that he doesn’t want to say he feels like being committed to something but the minute he does it, his mental warfare starts.
The 37-year-old is keen on fighting with legacy rather than money but even though he claimed that he had a lot more to lose than to win he still conceives that he wasn’t going to fight any of the winner but would rather fight someone lighter.
