We have listed two of seven players who were invited by Unai Emery to partake in the Gunners first team training session. Here are the remaining five players.
The 21 centre-back needs regular first-team action and he’s on track to achieving that after being called to the first-team training session by Emery.
He was snapped up from Barcelona academy —La Masia some seasons back but is yet to appear under Emery neither did he appear during Wenger’s reign.
The winger has been wonderful for the Gunners U-19 side, though, injury played a role in slowing down his progress.
However, the youngster is fit and he’s pushing for a place in Emery’s team in the nearest future.
The 18-year-old attacking midfielder joined the Gunners at the age of six and has since progressed through the ranks.
The player, who is hoping to play like Santi Cazorla and Steven Gerrard, is set to learn more from Emery as he rubs shoulder with more experienced players.
Gilmour is another player invited to the first team training session. The defensive midfielder possesses great physical appearance and he would be a great player for the Gunners in the future, should he maintain his qualities.
Apart from his no-nonsense attributes, the 19-year-old is also good in taking the spot kick.
The last name on the list, Zelalem is a great midfielder, who was highly rated by fans some seasons ago.
His impressive development was halted as result of his lengthy and career-threatening injury.
