Barcelona Star striker Luis Suarez has aimed a jibe at Manchester United as he claimed that Paul Pogba wants to be competing for more trophies than he’s doing at the Theater Of Dreams.
The Uruguayan attacker was interviewed by RAC1 and asked what he thought about rumours linking the Frenchman with a move to Camp Nou in January.
Suarez revealed his admiration for the player, whom has admits is a top player.
According to him, the 25-year-old playmaker is one of the best players in the game because ‘he’s won everything’.
He further said it will be wonderful playing alongside the world cup winner in January.
When asked if he’s confident the deal to bring Pogba to Barcelona would be done in the winter window, the former Liverpool star failed to give a precise answer but he believes Paul Pogba “would like to be competing for more than he is at the moment”
Paul Pogba, who is currently with his national teammate, re-joined United in 2016 when he left Juventus for the Old Trafford outfits in a then-record fee of £89m.
His return to Old Trafford has been a bittersweet experience for the player as he’s currently facing huge criticism from fans for his inspiring display since the start of the season.
