Arsenal are not getting many goals as they would have loved to see neither were they strong at the back of the pitch since the start of the season.

Despite getting five defence-minded players, the Gunners are yet to get the best from their new recruits.

As a result of this, Unai Emery is being linked with a shock move for Atletico Madrid’s star Filipe Luis, who once played for Chelsea before heading back to the Wanda Metropolitan.

The Brazilian was signed by José Mourinho during his time at Chelsea but the Portuguese failed to maximally get the best out of him.

Despite his qualities and techniques, Mourinho didn’t give him much time to feature for the Blues.

After playing a bit-part role at Stamford Bridge, Luis returned back to the Rojiblancos and started from where he stopped as he reclaimed his spot in the team’s first starting XI.

It was reported last month via Spanish media outlet AS that Paris St-German made a €4m offer for his signature but the player rejected the offer.

According to Luis, he is happy with the Spanish giants and he has no reason to leave the team anytime soon.

This might come as huge setback to the Gunners in their desire to capture his signature in the upcoming January transfer market.

The North London club have conceded eight goals since the start of this campaign, so, they desperately need to get a quality defender so as to add more quality to the back line.
