Arsenal recorded their second straight victory yesterday as they narrowly defeated Cardiff thanks to Lacazette’s bravery.
The game was heading for a draw until the Frenchman man picked his spot and coolly slotted the ball home with nine minutes left on the clock.
With the victory, the Gunners will be heading into the international break with a joyous mood as they have successfully turned their season around.
There were several talking points during the game, however, we have picked the best three from them.
Unai Emery Is Getting Used To The League
The Spanish manager has plied his trade with Sevilla and Paris St-German before coming to the Premier League.
His start to his Arsenal career was far from impressive as he was defeated twice in a row.
However, the manager has managed to lead his team to two back-to-back victories. It shows the manager is getting used to the Premier League’s playing style.
Lacazette Needs To Start Alongside Aubameyang
Both players started the game and they were wonderful throughout the time they played together on the pitch.
They both showed great understanding which was obvious during the encounter.
For the first time this season, Aubameyang benefitted from Lacazette’s passes to score his first goal of the season.
Just like the Frenchman, Aubameyang assisted Lacazette’s goal in the second half of the game.
