Unai Emery started Alexandre Lacazette alongside Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang for the first time this season and they were excellent throughout the encounter.
Both players were on the scoresheet as they helped the team to a hard-fought 3-2 victory over Cardiff City.
The Gunners called on the manager to start both players together against Chelsea in the second game of the season but Emery ignored their call claiming it wasn’t the right time to deploy such starting lineup.
However, the former Sevilla boss finally yielded to the fans call some minutes to yesterday’s game when he named the Frenchman in his first eleven ahead of Henrikh Mkhitaryan.
After their impressive partnership, Arsenal fans advised the Spanish tactician to remain glue to the players who executed yesterday’s game.
They want to see more of Lacazette in the starting Lineup, pairing his Gabonese striker at the final half of the pitch.
Here are some of the tweets on Twitter :
One fan told the manager never to omit the Frenchman from his starting players for the rest of this season because he’s currently in top form.
He also tweets on Aubameyang’s partnership with Lacazette, saying they are the best two striking partners in the League so far this season.
Another one advised Emery to stop picking Ramsey ahead of Lucas Torreira, who is yet to start any game for the team despite his great play from the bench.
He further said that Lacazette and Auba should be starting every game for the whole of this season.
