Manchester United forward Alexis Sanchez was obviously furious with Mourinho’s decision to take him off after playing just 60 minutes against Burnley yesterday.
The Chilean was having one of his best displays for the Old Trafford outfits since the start of the season but Mourinho surprisingly replaced him in the second half of the encounter.
After coming out of the pitch, the 30-year-old attacker was seen throwing a ‘tantrum’ on the bench to show how furious he was with the gaffer for not giving him the opportunity to play the whole game.
Despite his not-too-long existence on the field of play, Sanchez played a great role in the club’s victory as he assisted Romelu Lukaku’s first goal of the encounter.
His enticing cross was nodded home by the Belgian to give the Red Devils their much-needed lead.
After the game the Chilean took to his verified Instagram account to praise his teammates for the victory Instagram.
He simply wrote :
“Come On United,” calling on his teammates to maintain such performance when the League resumes after the international break
The post was also shared to his followers on Twitter as he received huge thumbs up for his wonderful performance in the win.
The player won’t be going for the international break as he was invited by his country for their friendly match against Japan — a situation Mourinho said will be beneficial to his team.
