Retired heavyweight boxer Richard Towers earlier claimed that WBC world champion Deontay Wilder is a much bigger puncher than Joshua, Tyson Fury and the Klitschko brothers.

Fury, who is currently the Lineal champion with his 2015 decision victory over Wladimir Klitschko will lock horns in a title defense with Wilder.

Towers also claimed that Wilder holds an enormous front in punching power.
According to Tower:

“ I’ve sparred with every heavyweight you could think of, except Joseph Parker. And I know when it comes to power, Deontay Wilder is in a league of his own,”

Towers also said that Wilder hits FOUR times harder than Vitali Klitschko, he hits FIVE times harder than Wladimir Klitschko, SIX times harder than Anthony Joshua, and EIGHT times harder than Fury.

Needless to say, Fury might be easily defeated by the rookie palms as Tower claimed that Fury is taking more risk in the title defense, challenging a powerful man as Wilder.

One optimistic reason could be because Fury had been away for more than two years before returning to the ring in June. However, he came back with a hard-fought decision win against Fracensco Pianeta.

Towers thinks the grafter can effortlessly be defeated even though he was able to move against lesser oppositions, it will not be similar to fighting against a powerful and highly experienced boxer as Wilder. However, he could take advantage of his wild body and “big head” to move out of the way for 12 rounds.
