Since Unai Emery took over from Arsene Wenger in May, there have been some changes to the club’s training method, tactical approach and playing style.

Though the Gunners players are yet to get used to the manager’s playing style, reports claimed that the team are loving his new hard-but-interesting tactics.

Meanwhile, Mesut Ozil is one of those players, who are finding it too difficult to adapt to the new changes in the team as the German hasn’t been in his usual blistering form since the start of the season.

It was reported via the Mirror that the playmaker was seen having a one-on-one discussion with the manager on the training ground — ahead of their clash with Cardiff City on Sunday — but they couldn’t reveal what they were discussing.

However, the former Paris St-German’s has reportedly revealed what he told the player at the Colney training ground.

According to the Emery, he told the 29-year-old that he might be used as a winger for the rest of the season so as to give room for Lucas Torreira to feature at the No 10 position.

The manager said he loves the player’s technical abilities and he trusts he would be able to play in multiple positions for the team

‘I like the possibility to have the player play different positions on the pitch,’ said Emery.

The Uruguayan is yet to start a game with the Gunners since he joined the team this summer but he has been awesome for the club from the bench.

It remains unknown if the player, who has featured at the No10 position for most of his career, would accept Emery’s term.
