The English Premier League is in its fourth week and clubs are already experiencing what to expect from their counterparts at the course of the campaign.
Arsenal lost Chelsea and Manchester City respectively and they had to come from a goal down to defeat West Ham in their last game.
In his team’s defeats to the two Premier League giants, Arsenal manager Unai Emery paraded Mesut Ozil from the start but the German didn’t live up to his billings and he was substituted in the second half of both matches.
However, in their win against the Hammers, Ozil was left out of the manager’s squad list due to illness.
Having seen their club claimed first three points of the season, Arsenal fans are calling on Emery never to change his starting lineup against Cardiff tomorrow (Sunday).
Should the manager yield to their calls, the German star won’t be starting against the Bluebirds.
However, Cardiff City manager Neil Warnock believes the playmaker is currently out of form but that didn’t take anything away from his qualities.
According to the manager, Ozil is a quality player who will eventually rediscover his blistering form sooner than later.
Reports claimed that Emery told the midfielder to be more than just a playmaker for the team, Daily Star reveals that Emery is hoping to see Ozil help the team while defending which is against the player’s playing style .
“When you’re a top player like Ozil is – seen it all and done it all- it’s only a matter of time until players like that click.” Warnock said to reporters
