Liverpool

Liverpool will face PSG on 18th of September but the fans will surely have something to cheer for as former Juventus shot-stopper, Gianluigi Buffon will miss out, owing to the red card he was issued against defending champions Real Madrid last season, while their metronome Marco Veratti as well be suspended.

Another great news is the set-piece specialist, Dani Alves will be out while Meunier will take his place.

Liverpool as a team are known to be feared when they are in flying form but the qualities of this French league champions cannot be written off.

They play with similar formation to suit the likes of world cup winner, Kylian Mbappe, Uruguay striker, Edinson Cavani and the most expensive player in the world Neymar.

Apart from PSG, the reds still must be even concern about Ancelotti’s Napoli, who are still looking more dangerous as they were under Sarri. However, the suave coach has won 3 Champions league cups (more than the rest in group C)- more reason why he should not be disregarded.

The group stage which would rather be considered as the group of death to the Serbian fans also has Crvena Zvezda. The Serbian sides will be regarded as the underdogs throughout the campaign.

Only Dejan Lovren is missing at the back but it appears that Liverpool have resolved their defensive woes. With what the YNWA side have, they may be the only club looking beyond group C.
