Arsenal have gladdens the heart of their supporters with another great news as reports suggested they are on the verge of reaching a deal with Adidas to become their kit Sponsor.
The kits-producing giants are one of the best in the game and they are on the brink of agreeing to a five-year sponsorship deal with the North London club next month.
According to numerous reports making headlines this afternoon, the highly speculated deal is set to become the third most expensive deal in the history of football—behind Manchester United and Barcelona — as it reportedly worth nothing less than £300m
The deal will also see the Gunners pocket £60m every year for the next five years of the agreement.
The Gunners are presently in contract with Puma for their kit supply but the partnership won’t be renewed by the Gunners hierarchy when it expires by the end of this season.
While reacting to the proposed deal, former Arsenal striker Ian Wright revealed his happiness that Adidas are going to partner with the club for the first time since 1994.
“So pleased adidas are back sponsoring after this coming season️. Especially after seeing what Puma have come up with.” he said
Just as the Gunners legend, Arsenal fans are glad that they are set to reach an agreement with Adidas. They took to Twitter to show their joy with the club’s decision to end contract with Puma.
