Despite having the best defensive record so far in the league with 3 wins, 3 clean sheets and 7 goals, Jorgen Klopp still admits that he possibly needs to make changes and thus give his substitutes the opportunity to prove their values on the pitch.
The reds started the League campaign with 4 goals and it appears like the goals are declining in numbers as the players were only able to escape a 1 nil win against Brighton through Mo Salah last Saturday.
Manchester City may vaunt of having a million-dollar bench but the Reds have a host of talented players which could as well make it difficult for Klopp to decide on how to rotate his them.
Jordan Henderson, Xherdan Shaqiri, Adam Lallana and Daniel Sturridge has seen limited time off the bench; meanwhile, Divok Origi and Dom Solanke are yet to play any part having “trained really, really good” with their teammates. Fabinho is yet to appear in the match squad and he has to compete with the midfielders to get a first team spot.
Although Klopp’s tactical masterpiece was seen last season when he rotated most of his players in other to confuse his opponents. As it stands, it seems he may start considering a similar decision since they had already “lost the plot”.
Liverpool may now have to face Leicester City on Sunday at the King Power Stadium with an opportunity to see what the expected changes have to offer
