Midfielder Aaron Ramsey
Arsenal want-away midfielder Aaron Ramsey is set to apply Mesut Ozil’s approach in his contract talks with the Gunners.
It should be recalled that Mesut Ozil waited until January this year before he revealed his desire to leave the Emirates Stadium and that made the club’s hierarchy offer him a staggering £300,000-A-week so as to convince him to stay.
Just like Ozil, Ramsey has stalled his contract talks with the club and he is expected to wait until the winter transfer market before he continues the negotiations from where he stopped.

The Welshman is in the last year of his contract but all the club’s efforts to renew his deal was fruitless as they couldn’t reach an agreement with the player.
According to the Mail on Sunday, the 27-year-old who wanted an increase in his weekly wages, is not ready for talks with the club over his future as he would be free to negotiate a free deal with interested suitors.
Should he sign a pre-contract deal with another club before the end of this season, the 27-year-old midfielder would pocket a Signing-on fee whenever he officially leaves the new North Londoners.
However, Emery is doing all he could to ensure that the Welshman didn’t leave his team as fa ree agent by the end of the season in May next.
Alex Iwobi Will Only Leave Club One Condition
Arsenal winger Alex Iwobi has revealed that he might need to quit the club if one thing happens to his career at the Emirates Stadium.
In his latest interview as monitored by the Daily Star, Super Eagles star Iwobi said that the only thing that would force him out of the club is the arrival of Crystal Palace star Wilfried Zaha which would lead to lack of first team opportunities in the new season.
Arsenal have been seriously linked with a move for Ivorian national team player Zaha this summer.
Crystal Palace have slammed the asking price of £80m on Wilfried Zaha amidst the transfer interest from the Gunners.
Arsenal recently had a £40m bid turned down for the player.
Wilfried Zaha is the top transfer target for Arsenal for the moment as manager Unai Emery tries to boost his squad with some quality players before the new season which starts on the 8th of August.
The 26-year-old has openly talked about his desire to leave Crystal Palace to his dream club Arsenal this summer.
Arsenal have been linked with several alternatives in the event that they miss out on Wilfried Zaha.
The Gunners have been linked with other wingers like Gremio FC of Brazil attacker Everton Soares and Barcelona winger Malcom.
Why Celtic Rejected £25m Arsenal Bid For Kieran Tierney
Sky Sports journalist Kaveh Solhekol has revealed the reason behind the latest failed bid from Arsenal for Celtic defender Kieran Tierney.
According to him, Arsenal recently failed with a £25m bid for the player despite the fact that it matched the asking price from Scottish champions Celtic.
The Sky Sports media personnel said that Celtic were unhappy with the add-ons accompanied with the deal.
Earlier reports had said that the North London giants made an initial bid of £18m plus £7m in add-ons thus totaling £25m.
Arsenal were denied with the latest bid as Celtic were not convinced by the condition attached to the add-ons which are centered on qualification for Champions League.
Gunners boss Unai Emery has identified the left-back position as the area to be strengthened ahead of the new season and Kieran Tierney is his top transfer target for the position.
The Scottish international player is presently out of action with a hernia injury but Unai Emery is still bent on signing him for Arsenal this summer.
The Gunners had earlier made two separate bids of £15m and £18m until the latest bid made earlier this month.
Arsenal have signed just one player this season after young Brazilian attacker Gabriel Martinelli was officially announced as a Gunner in the penultimate week.
Watford In Talks To Sign £27m Arsenal Target
Premier League club Watford are reportedly in talks to sign highly rated Rennes winger Ismaila Sarr.
According to Sky Sports, the Hornets are hopeful of signing the Arsenal target before the Premier League transfer window closes.
Watford have less than three weeks to get the deal over the line with the transfer window set to be shut on August 8.
Rennes are holding out for £27m for Sarr but Watford are ready to offer £20m for him.
The two clubs are still £7m apart in their valuation for the player.
His transfer would be record-breaking for Watford whose current record is the £18m paid for Andre Gray.
The striker was signed from fellow Premier League club Burnley at the start of the 2017/18 season.
Apart from Ismaila Sarr, Watford also retain an interest in £25m-rated winger Allan Saint-Maximin.
Ismaila Sarr has been busy this summer at the just concluded African Cup of Nations (AFCON) in Egypt.
He was part of the Senegal squad that reached the final of the tournament before they were beaten 1-0 by Tunisia.
Ismaila Sarr was linked with the Gunners earlier this year but the North Londoners have moved their attention to Crystal Palace winger Wilfried Zaha.
Arsenal want to sign a winger this summer ahead of the new season billed to start next month.
