Liverpool star Andy Robertson is set for a new contract after his awesome performance for the Reds in the first matches of the season.
According to Liverpool Echo, the Scottish star is reportedly going to sign a long-term current which will keep him at Anfield for up to five years.
The 24-year-old is reportedly going to pocket nothing less than £60,000-A-week, that’s according to the Mirror.
Robertson didn’t get much game-time during the first half of last season but he finally found his way into Klopp’s starting lineup in the second half of the season where he made 30 appearances before the close of last season.
This will surely come as good news to the Reds faithfuls as they will be hoping to have the player continue his impressive displays with the club beyond this season.
Robertson is set to play a huge role in the team this season as they compete for their first silverware under Jurgen Klopp.
In other Liverpool news, the Reds will take on Crystal Palace later today, Klopp is hoping to continue his fine start to the season.
