Manchester United lost their first match of the season as they were pipped 3-2 by Brighton last night.
The Red Devils were 2-1 winner against Leicester City in the first match of the season, however, they couldn’t repeat the same feat last night as they were poor from start to finish.
Murray was on the ground to score the first goal of the match in the 25th minute. Shane Duffy doubled the tally for the Amex Stadium outfits before the end of first half.
After 90 minutes of action, the Red Devils lost 3-2 to the Amex Stadium outfits and Here are some lesson learnt from United’s performance:
United Defenders Were Nothing To Write About
United’s defense was tested by the Seagulls but couldn’t stand their ground.
Eric Bailly was uncharacteristically nervous throughout the game and he was found wanting in dealing with Glenn Murray’s pace and agility.
All the defenders were far from impressive as Victor Lindelof, Luke Shaw and Ashley Young couldn’t provide much-needed cover for David De Gea, who was tested throughout the encounter.
Fred Is Yet To Settle At Old Trafford As He Awful Throughout The Day
The Brazilian star joined the Red Devils from Shakhtar Donetsk this summer and has been wonderful for the team.
However, yesterday was a bad day in office for the midfielder, who was poor throughout the encounter.
Just like everyone else in the team, the Brazilian wasn’t in his best and must improve in the next match, else, he sees himself on the bench.
