Leicester City midfielder Wilfred Ndidi has officially penned a new deal with the Foxes amid rumours linking him with a move to top Premier League clubs.
The former Genk player has been awesome for the King Power outfits since he joined the team and he was rewarded with a much-improved deal by the club’s hierarchy so as to tie him down to the club for a long time.
According to Leicester city’s official site Lcfc.com, the player has signed a six-year contract which would see him remain in the club till 2024.
The Nigerian international joined the Foxes in January 2017 as a replacement for N’Golo Kante, who joined the Blues in the same season.
However, the 21-year-old has become a household name in the League as he was last season’s best midfielder in terms of tackles won.
He was named the best young player for the club in two consecutive seasons and he is an integral part of Claude Puel’s team.
Arsenal and Liverpool were said to be monitoring the player’s situation at the King Power Stadium during the summer window hopjng to make move for him in the next transfer market.
Though the Gunners turned their attention to Torreira and Matteo Guendouzi, Arsenal fans still want Unai Emery to make move for the youngster in January due to his hard work on the field of play.
