Manchester United star Paul Pogba is set for his long-awaited move to Barcelona this week, according to Daily Mail.

The Frenchman was awesome for the Les Blues side in Russia as they won the world cup trophy for the first time in 20 years.

Despite his explosive performances during the tournament, Manchester United manager José Mourinho seems not willing to retain his services as results of his relationship with the player.

The media outlet revealed that the relationship between both parties is far from cordial and the player is now set to move out of the Theater of Dreams with Barcelona tipped as his next destination.

In one of their reports, British media the Daily Mirror claimed that the 25-year-old playmaker has reached personal agreement with the Blaugrana but his move to Camp Nou is subjected to United’s decision.

Pogba joined the Red Devils from Juventus for £89m in the 2016-17 season, though he hasn’t done too well to justify his price tag.

With some days left to the close of the transfer window in Spain, Barcelona hierarchy are doing everything in their power to see that the midfielder joins them.

Pogba captained United against Leicester City last week but it remains unknown if Mourinho would give him the opportunity to lead the team when the battle Brighton & Hove Albion on Saturday.
