Chelsea are set to confront the Gunners in what will be an interesting game, considering the fact that both clubs have new managers — who are entirely new to the Premier League.
The Blues face their North London rivals at Stamford Bridge which means Maurizio Sarri will have the backing of the crowd.
Despite winning his first Premier League game against Huddersfield last weekend with some players in his starting lineup, Sarri might make some changes to his first eleven against Arsenal.
However here is Chelsea’s probable lineup and some changes that we could see in Sarri’s tactical approach to the much-talked-about encounter.
Eden Hazard As A False 9
It is rare seeing the Belgian play as a centre-forward but that could be seen on Saturday.
Alvaro Morata, who occupies the position has failed to live up to expectations as he hasn’t found the back of the net in more than 14 matches.
Sarri might consider playing Hazard at the centre of the attack, though, it means the Belgian will be played out of position while Morata would be made to watch from the bench.
Debut For Kovacic At The Middle Of The Park
The former Real Madrid and Croatian midfielder joined the Blues on loan but didn’t feature in their last game.
He could be given a role to play at the middle of the pitch alongside N’Golo Kante and Ross Barkley.
However, he will need to prove his worth to convince Sarri he deserves to be consistent in the manager’s starting lineup.
Below is Chelsea’s probable Lineup Against Arsenal On Saturday:
Kepa; Azpilicueta, Luiz, Rudiger, Alonso; Jorginho, Kante, Barkley; Pedro, Willian, Hazard
