Liverpool To Decide Whether To Sell This Star Player Or Not As Offers Keep Coming

Liverpool defender Ragnar Klavan could depart the Merseyside club before the end of the month as Jurgen Klopp is considering whether to retain his services or not.

The German manager is receiving a lot of offers from European powerhouses for his signature but he hasn’t decided what to do with the player.

Klavan, 32, joined the Reds from Bundesliga side FC Augsburg in 2016 in a deal which was reported to have worth £4.2m.

Since his move to Anfield Stadium, the centre-back couldn’t break into club’s starting lineup and he is set to move out of the team so as to get quality game-time in the 2018-19 season.

The Reds presently have many quality defenders and that has made things very difficult for the Estonia international.

The Reds captured Van Dijk from Southampton last winter and the Dutchman has been nothing short of brilliant for the Merseyside outfits.

Having returned from injury, Cameroon international Joel Matip is another option for Klopp to call upon while naming his first eleven players.

To make matters more complicated for the 32-year-old defender, young and upcoming defender Nat Phillips is highly rated by the German tactician after a string of impressive performances during their pre-season tour.

According to Liverpool Echo, Klopp could sell the player before the end of the month as clubs from Bundesliga are showing interest in the Estonian, who has featured in 52 matches for the Reds.
