Where Will Arsenal Finish This Season.
For the first time in 21 years, the Gunners changed their manager when Arsene Wenger quits his position as the club’s manager and he was replaced with Unai Emery.
The new manager has shown some signs that greater things are set to come but the question is how soon are we going to experience new things like winning the Premier League, keeping clean sheets and breaking positive records.
The new manager has brought new players into the team and he is ready to begin his adventure at the Emirates Stadium.
However, the Emery started the season in an unwanted way as he was defeated by Manchester City, who were ruthless in front of goal on Sunday.
After Sunday’s loss, the Unai Emery is presently preparing for another strong opposition in Maurizio Sarri’s men.
The two managers are new to the Premier League but they face a huge task of turning things around in their respective clubs.
As for Emery, he is hoping to win the Premier League trophy for the first time in his career while he would be hoping to lead the Gunners to the glory since 2004.
Did the former Sevilla and PSG boss stand a chance of winning the League this season? That question could only be answered with time.
According to former Arsenal defender Matthew Upson, winning the League is a bit too soon for Emery, who will need some time to study how things are being done in the League.
He, however, concluded that the team will surely finish among the top four clubs.
“I think so [they will finish in the top four]….. the signings they’ve made have addressed the positions and signings they needed to be better. They are signings who will do the basics and do them well.” Upson told Sky Sports
A fourth-place finish sounds odd but that will be a great achievement for the Spaniard considering the position the Gunners were at the end of last season.
