AC Milan have turned their attention to Chelsea and Manchester United target Milinko-Savic, who plays for Serie A Lazio.
According to report emanating from Calciomercato, the Serie A giants are said to lure the Serbian international to San Siro stadium before the end of the summer transfer window in Italy.
The Italian media outlet claims that the Rossoneri are willing to make a huge-money offer for the player’s signature.
If the reports are anything to trust, then AC Milan would be offering £98m for Milinko-Savic’s services. The offer is also set to involve Fabio Borini as a makeshift for his signature.
Meanwhile, the same report is claiming that Lazio are unwilling to listen to any offer below €110m for their impressive midfielder.
It should be recalled that Chelsea and Manchester United were heavily linked with the player’s signature last month before the transfer window close in England but none of them could complete their respective moves for his service.
The Red Devils made an £80m offer to Lazio for the player but the bid was rejected by the club’s hierarchy who claimed they can’t let go of the 23-year-old for such a low deal.
Though Maurizio Sarri was linked with his signature during the window, the former Napoli manager didn’t make any official approach towards capturing Milinko-Savic.
It is understood that Lazio would sanction his move to the San Siro stadium before the close of Italy’s transfer window, should they receive ba etter offer.
