This Will Surprise You! See How Much United Youngster Worth Financially

Manchester United striker Marcus Rashford broke into the limelight in 2016 as one of the best youngsters in the League during Jose Mourinho’s first season at the Theater of Dreams.

Since he burst into the scene, England international has continued his rise to stardom in a blistering pace.

Though the arrival of Alexis Sanchez from Arsenal last season reduced his first-team actions on the pitch, the youngster seems to have won Mourinho’s trust this season as he was given an iconic number 10 jersey which emphasises his importance to the team.

However, apart from his value to the team on the field of play, Rashford possess huge financial value— base on his weekly earnings and other assets— which have helped to boost the club’s financial sector.

Having signed his first professional contract with the Red Devils in 2016, the youngster is being paid £20k as weekly salary. The contract is due to expire by 2020 which means the young striker has a chance of increasing his weekly pay before the end of next year.

Just like every other established footballers, the 20-year-old is an ambassador of some football Academies. He is one of ‘McDonald’s Football Ambassadors and he has been active in supporting the academy’s growth

As at January this year, British finance magazine Spear claims that Rashford’s net worth is valued at £65m, though that might have increased now considering his involvement in the Russia 2018 world cup with the Three Lions, who came fourth.

Young Liverpool midfielder Leighton Clarkson has signed his first professional contract at the club.

The news of his professional contract was revealed by the official Twitter handle of Liverpool earlier on Monday.

Leighton Clarkson has represented the various youth teams at Liverpool in the past few years from the u16s, u18s, and the u19s.

The 17-year-old was part of the Liverpool u18 team that won the FA Youth Cup last season.

The young midfielder has been at Liverpool since the u8 Academy.

Leighton Clarkson is definitely one for the future at Liverpool who are currently on the preseason tour of the United States (US).

The Reds have not been in good form during their tour of the United States as they step up their preparation for the new season which is scheduled for the second week of August.

The new Premier League season starts on the 9th of August but they face English champions Manchester City in the Community Shield five days earlier.

Liverpool will kick-start the new league season with a home game against newly-promoted Premier League club Norwich City.

The Reds lost 3-2 to German Bundesliga outfit Borussia Dortmund in their first preseason game in the US before losing 2-1 to Spanish La Liga club Sevilla.

Manchester United goalkeeper David De Gea has set his sights on the captain’s armband at the club after agreeing on a contract extension to stay with the Red Devils for a long time.

In his recent interview monitored by the Independent, David De Gea stated that it would be an honour to lead the team.

He also pointed out that he enjoyed the experience of leading the team on some occasions to date.

His captain armband admission is coming on the back of his contract extension agreement with Manchester United.

According to recent reports, David De Gea has agreed on a six-year deal until the end of the 2024/25 season.

His new contract is worth £375,000 on a weekly basis this making him the second highest paid player at Manchester United behind Alexis Sanchez.

Chilean international Alexis Sanchez is the highest earner at Manchester United following his move in January 2018.

David De Gea has one year left on his current deal at Manchester United after the club activated the extra year in his contract.

His new contract agreement will take the Spanish international shot stopper to the summer of 2024.

He was linked with several clubs like Juventus and Real Madrid before his agreement with senior Manchester United officials.

Arsenal To Make Third Bid For Kieran Tierney

Arsenal will reportedly make a third bid for Celtic defender Kieran Tierney in the coming days.

This is according to the publication from Daily Record which revealed that the Gunners are preparing a third bid for the Scottish international left-back.

It was revealed that Arsenal will make another £25m for the player with better payment arrangement.

Arsenal had earlier made a second bid of £25m which included £7m in add-ons.

Celtic swiftly turned down that second bid which had just £18m in upfront payment.

Arsenal will offer more in upfront payment from the £25m to meet the financial demand from Scottish Premiership giants Celtic.

The Gunners have identified Kieran Tierney as their major transfer target in their quest to sign a new left-back this summer.

They had earlier made a first bid of just £15m for the player.

Arsenal left-backs Sead Kolasinac and Nacho Mineral were unable to meet up with what was demanded by club manager Unai Emery in that position hence the need to sign a new player for that position.

Kieran Tierney, 22, has been recovering from hernia and hip problems but he’s expected to be fit by next month.

He wants the move to Arsenal but the Scottish player won’t force the transfer.
