Liverpool star Ings finally completed his move to Southampton in one of the late transfer deadline day’s completed deals.
The striker was said to be heading to Crystal Palace as reports claimed that Roy Hodgson has reached an agreement with the Reds for the youngster’s signature.
Despite rumors claiming that the player is set to join the Eagles, Southampton were able to make a last-minute move for the player and they successfully captured him on a loan deal.
According to the Mirror, the player joined the Saints on a season-long loan deal but there is a buyout clause in the deal which makes it a must for Southampton to buy him outrightly on the 1st of July 2019.
The media outlet also reveals that Liverpool will receive £20m from the Saint next year for his signature and appearance fee.
The England international is player with loads of potentials to become a top class striker in the nearest future but he wasn’t given a look-in by Jurgen Klopp due to the level and quality of strikers ahead of him.
Having joined the Saints ahead of next season, the young striker would be hoping to rejuvenate his career and hope to return back to limelight in the nearest future
