‘Welcome To Stamford Bridge’: Chelsea To Break Record For Star Player, Unveiling Today Or Tomorrow

Chelsea are all but set to partway with Thibaut Courtois as they have agreed on a record-breaking £72m deal for Athletic Bilbao goaltender Kepa Arrizabalaga.
Report broke out this afternoon that the 23-year-old has reached an agreement with the Blues and he is on his way to Stamford Bridge for his Medicals.
According to Daily Mail and all other rumour mongers, Chelsea are going to unveil him to the fans tomorrow, should everything go on as plan.
It is believed that Real Madrid were keen on his signature but they were unable to trigger his release clause.
However, the Los Blancos will complete their longtime move for Belgium goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois in coming days.
According to the Mirror last night, Chelsea are unwilling to loose Courtois on a free transfer in the next summer window, so they decide to cash-in on his signature.
The Los Blancos are reportedly going to pay nothing less than £35m to the Blues for Courtois signature.
Should he eventually complete his move to the West London clinic tomorrow, Kepa would become the most expensive goalie in the world ahead of Alisson Becker, who joined Liverpool from Roma in a £65m deal last month.
Kepa would surely be Chelsea’s first-choice goalkeeper ahead of Willy Caballero, which is known to be an error-prone goalie during his stay at the Etihad Stadium.
Summer Signing Rob Green will be pushed to the third position in the goaltender’s ranking at Stamford Bridge.
