Chelsea underperforming midfielder Bakayoko could be heading to AC Milan this summer as the Rossoneri picked up interest in his services, that’s according to Sky Sports Italia.
The former Monaco star joined the Blues last summer but failed to establish himself under Conte as he only got few chances under the Italian manager.
Though he still has three years left in his contract with the Blues, he might be joining the Serie A side on a loan deal before the end of the ongoing transfer market.
As per the report via Sky Sports Italia, the Rossoneri want to bring themselves back to the level they were some seasons ago, therefore, are actively involved in the ongoing transfer market.
AC Milan manager Rino Gattuso has already signed Gonzalo Higuain on a season-long loan deal from arch-rivals Juventus with an option to buy him outrightly in subsequent seasons.
The manager has also captured Mattia Caldara from the Old Lady this summer but he is yet to be satisfied with the crop of players at his disposal ahead of next season.
The media publication also said that talks are ongoing between both clubs and they would be hoping to get a great response from the Blues soon.
The reports also revealed Milan’s intention to get Lyon playmaker Sergej Milinko-Savic this summer as they seek for a proven midfielder who will provide many goalscoring chances for Higuain in the 2018-19 season.
