Arsenal are on the verge of reaching an agreement with Besiktas for Vida’s service ahead of the transfer deadline.
The Gunners are reportedly set to sanction Calum Chambers’ switch to Premier League newbies Fulham and they are have set their eyes on the Croatian defender as the best man to replace the outgoing 23-year-old defender.
Chambers didn’t have much actions under Arsene Wenger throughout last season despite his huge talents.
Since Unai Emery took over from the Frenchman in May, there were no indications that he would be an integral part of the gaffer’s team in the coming season.
Due to his quest for regular first-team action in the coming season, Calum Chambers has decided to quit the Gunners and reports claimed he is on the verge of signing a loan deal with Fulham, who are hoping to bring more quality and experienced players.
According to Fanatik Sport in Turkey, Besiktas have been contacted by Arsenal over the possibility of selling Vida in a couple of days.
The same media outlet also claimed that the Black Eagles are ready and willing to release the player to any suitor willing to meet their price tag on his signature.
The Turkish giants are reportedly eyeing a £25m profit from Vida’s sale but Fanatik Sports are claiming the Gunners are willing to pay only £17m for his services.
