Another Bad News For Mourinho As His Target Wants A Move To Bayern Munich

Manchester United are having a nightmare when it comes to the transfer market, this is because most of Mourinho’s targets are unwilling to join the Portuguese manager at Old Trafford.

We reported last week that Real Madrid want-away striker Kovacic won’t move to the Theater of Dreams this summer because he believes be can’t see himself succeeding under Mourinho’s tactics.

Just as Kovacic, many players have turned down offers to work with the former Real Madrid manager in the coming season.

The latest player to turn down the offer from United is Croatian star player Ivan Perisic, who prefers a move to Bundesliga Champions Bayern Munich in the coming season.

According to the player when asked about his future by a SPORT BILD reporter, he would love to join Munich manager Niko Kovac, who was his former coach during his time as Croatia boss.

The Inter Milan winger told the reporter that he loves working with Kovac and hehe would be glad to re-unite with the Bavarians tactician.

Perisic is a pacey winger who loves to help his team while defending.

He was a handful for defenders during Russia 2018 world cup as he scored some well-taken goals to help Croatia to their first second-place finish in the history of the tournament.

Should this transfer ill-luck continue, Mourinho might be forced to block Anthony Martial’s proposed move to either Juventus or Tottenham.

Report: Greek Super League giants Show Interest In Liverpool Defender

Liverpool defender Yasser Larouci is on the radar of Greek Super League giants Olympiacos according to Inside Futbol.

Olympiacos are in the market for a new left-sided defender after the departure of Kostantinos Tsimikas to Liverpool earlier this summer.

The Reds paid around £11.8m for the signing of Tsimikas and it was the first transfer made by the Premier League champions.

The Merseyside giants have since added the duo of Thiago Alcantara and Diogo Jota to their squad.

Thiago Alcantara has signed for Liverpool in a £27m deal including add-ons, while Diogo Jota left Wolves for Liverpool in a £45m transfer, add-ons inclusive.

Larouci is unlikely to get much action at Liverpool this season as the likes of Andy Robertson, Kostantinos Tsimikas and Neco Williams are all ahead of him for the left-back spot.

The 19-year-old Le Harve Academy graduate has one year left on his Liverpool contract and it’s like the Reds are keen to cash in on him this summer rather than let him leave for free at the end of this season.

Yaser Larouci has a better chance of featuring in the first team at Olympiacos in Greece than at Anfield where competition for places is very stiff.

Jadon Sancho

Manchester United have found the goings tough in the current transfer window but a lot of movements in and out of the club can still happen between now and the end of the window in a little over a week’s time.

For now, four incoming transfers and three outgoing transfers are in the pipeline as per the various reports in the British media.

Borussia Dortmund winger Jadon Sancho is the undisputed top transfer target for the Red Devils and the long-running transfer saga has been resurrected in the last few hours after the club made an offer of £75m plus £15m for the winger.

Juventus winger Douglas Costa is their alternative for Sancho but they face competition for him from Wolves who want him as a replacement for new Liverpool signing Diogo Jota.

There has been little or no development in the potential transfer of FC Porto left-back Alex Telles to Manchester United in the past few hours. He has one year to run on his existing deal with the Portuguese giants.

Dayot Upamecano is a centre back target for Manchester United and they may have to pay over €50m for him in this transfer window as per the report from The Peoples Person. He has a €42m release clause in his RB Leipzig contract but it won’t be active until next summer.

For outgoings, Leeds United are interested in signing Daniel James from Manchester United, while Inter Milan want to sign Chris Smalling after the centre back’s successful loan spell at AS Roma last season.

Third choice Manchester United goalkeeper Sergio Romero is also a target for Everton with Toffees shot stopper Jordan Pickford under pressure to perform.

Barcelona defender Jean-Clair Todibo is the latest player to be linked with a move to Premier League giants Manchester United in this transfer window.

Manchester United found out that the centre back position could be a problematic one after their first league game ended in a disastrous manner.

Jean-Clair Todibo is a centre back by trade and can also feature in other defensive areas.

Mundo Deportivo stated that Manchester United won’t have to pay over the odds for the 20-year-old as Barcelona are only demanding for £13.7m.

Manchester United lost their league opener last weekend as they were beaten 3-1 at home by Crystal Palace and Swedish international Victor Lindelof was at fault for the three goals conceded.

Lindelof partnered club-record signing Harry Maguire at the heart of the Manchester United defence during the Palace game.

Apart from Todibo, Inter Milan defender Milan Skriniar, RB Leipzig star Dayot Upamecano etc. have all been mentioned as a possible centre back signing at Manchester United.

Jean-Clair Todibo has suffered from a lot of injury problems in recent seasons but his quality is not in doubt as he showed during his loan spell at Schalke 04 in the German top flight.

The injury ended his loan spell at Schalke 04 abruptly last season.

Manchester United legend Andy Cole has backed his former club over their reluctance to pay the outrageous transfer fee demanded by German Bundesliga team Borussia Dortmund for their top target, Jadon Sancho.

When asked about Dortmund’s valuation of the player, former Manchester United striker told PA news agency that it is crazy money.

According to him, Manchester United are right not to bow to the outrageous demands of Borussia Dortmund.

Andy Cole also revealed that he wants thr club to strengthen the team in both the central defence and central striker positions.

The ex-Fulham, Blackburn Rovers and Newcastle United player was satisfied with the current crop of players in the Manchester United midfield.

He said that the Manchester United midfielders can hold their own against any midfield in the Premier League.

Houssem Aouar

Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has given the go ahead for the club to make another bid for highly rated Lyon skipper Houssem Aouar.

Aouar, 22, is the top midfield target for Arteta and Arsenal as they attempt to beef up their squad before the transfer window ends in October.

The latest Arsenal bid was confirmed by French TV show Telefoot Chaine as it was revealed that the Gunners have made an offer of around €40m for the player.

It was also revealed that Gunners boss Arteta is keen to see the transfer through to a positive outcome.

Declan Rice

Chelsea have spent the most money amongst European clubs during this year’s summer transfer window and it looks like their transfer splurge has not ended according to the Daily Express.

The Blues have spent almost £250m on transfers this summer and the report via the aforementioned British media outlet stated that the West London giants have agreed on personal terms with Declan Rice paving the way for the club to sign him if they can agree on a transfer fee with the Hammers.

Declan Rice spent the majority of his youth career at Chelsea before he was released at the age of 14.

West Ham United signed him almost immediately and the England international went on to represent the first team and he has not looked back since then.

Declan Rice is an important member of the West Ham United squad and he has a valuation of £80m on his head.

Chelsea will take their transfer splurge over the £300m mark this summer if they are able to re-sign the midfielder with the Hammers reluctant to lower their asking price.

The Hammers hierarchy came in for some rough treatment from the fans earlier this month following the sale of young winger Grady Diangana and the sale of Declan Rice would even cause more problems at the club.

Jesse Lingard

Man United will be forced to keep waiting for Jesse Lingard to make a decision over his future as his words are being expected by the club before the end of the summer transfer window.

With one year left to the end of his contract with the club, Jesse Lingard has been told by the club that he can leave but the 27-year-old has not brought in any formal offer.

Although, Sky Sports reports that his representatives have been holding talks with some English clubs on a possible deal but the player seems not to be decided yet, over his future.

Despite starting a game for Man United for the first time this season against Luton in the Carabao Cup clash on Tuesday, he cannot be guaranteed a starting role in the club this season.

However, Man United must free up the team to be able to accommodate other signings as manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has made it clear that he will be making some signings before the end of the summer transfer window.

The club is currently being affected by the coronavirus pandemic and that can be blamed for their slow summer transfer activities as they have missed out on a number of targets so far.
