It was said that Liverpool are looking at the prospect of luring Wales international Aaron Ramsey to their squad from Arsenal this summer.
According to Sky Sports Pundit last week, the Reds are interested in the player because Jurgen Klopp sees him as a perfect box-to-box midfielder for his team in the coming season.
However, the report has turned out to be mere rumours as the Reds are not in the race to capture the midfielder this summer.
Though Ramsey is being linked out of the Emirates by some reporters, the Reds have debunked the reports that they are set to rival Chelsea for his signature.
Ramsey, 30, is edging closer to the end of his contract with the Emirates outfits and he is yet to accept the contract offered him by the Gunners hierarchy.
According to Daily Mirror reporter David Maddock, the Reds are not interested in bringing another midfielder to their midfield’s setup as they seem to have more than enough players competing for a place at the middle of the pitch.
However, Chelsea are said to be keenly interested in luring the Welshman to the Stamford Bridge this summer.
Considering his experience in the League, Maurizio Sarri believes the player will be a great addition to his team ahead the coming season.
Should he eventually get the player’s signature, one of Danny Drinkwater, Cesc Fabregas or Bakayoko could be shown the exit door so as to create space for him.
