Arsenal player departs to Greece – Arsenal football club have announced that Chuba Akpom has departed the club for a move to POAK Salonka on a permanent deal.
The London club stated on its official website that the youngster who made just 12 first team appearances for the Gunners will team up with the Greek outfit ahead of next season.
The 22-year-old struggled to feature prominently in the first team and had to contend with a total of six loan spells spanning from the time of his first team debut in 2013.
The Englishman most impressive display has been for the colours of Belgian side Sint-Truden where he bagged six goals in total though he has also represented Brentford, Nottingham Forest, Hull City, Coventry City and Brighton&Hove Albion.
However, the striker upon his arrival to his parent club was deemed surplus to requirements by new boss Unai Emery and thus his exit from Emirates permanently
A three-year contract has been agreed by both parties and the youngster will seek to develop himself and fulfil his long regarded status as a future top player.
