Liverpool rising star Ben Woodburn has officially joined Sheffield United on a season-long loan as he wants quality time on the field of play in the coming season.
The youngster was tracked by a host of championship clubs including Norwich city, but Sheffield were the club with the most eyeing-catching offer, so, the Reds accepted their offer without delay.
While confirming the player’s signature via their official Twitter account, the Championship side revealed their happiness to see the youngster move to their club despite numerous options available for him to choose from.
The wrote on their Twitter account that the Welsh international is a young player with huge talent and they are ready to help him grow to become one of the best youngsters in the world in no time.
In his reaction to the player’s move to his team, the Blades manager Chris Wilder believes the teenager — who is already capped at the senior level for his country — will be a good signing for the team as he would bring more flair and flexibility to his team’s attacking prowess.
According to Wilder, the youngster won’t regret his decision to work with him as he and his coaching staffs are ready to give the player regular game-time in the coming season, as long as he maintains his great form and fitness.
The 18-year-old versatile striker has featured in 11 matches with the Reds and he’s currently with the Merseyside club in France as they prepare for Napoli challenge in their final pre-season match in Dublin.
