Manchester United are on the verge of completing their fourth summer signing this summer as reports claimed that Colombia international Yerri Mina is set to drop Barcelona for the Red Devils.
According to Spanish media outlet SPORT, the defender has deleted Barcelona from his Instagram bio, which means he has made up his mind to move out of Camp Nou before the end of the ongoing transfer market.
Mina, 23, became the first Colombia international to play for the Blaugrana when he joined the team last winter, though, he failed to establish himself as a regular starter in Valverde’s starting lineup throughout the second half of the 2017-18 season.
Having seen how hard it was to break into Barcelona’s first-team, the player is now set to move elsewhere so as to get regular action in the coming season.
However, Manchester United are said to be monitoring his situation at Camp Nou and they are ready to launch a bid for his signature.
After failing to convince Leicester city to sell Harry Maguire for £40m, the Red Devils have turned their attention to the Colombian star as an alternative to the England international.
As part of the report, the media outlet revealed that the defender is now following the Red Devils’ official page on Instagram.
Should he make his move to Old Trafford this summer, he will need to up his game on training ground if he must get quality game-time under the Portuguese boss.
