Simon Mignolet Nears Liverpool Exit; Not In Klopp’s Squad For France Camping
Manchester United 4-1 on Saturday, Liverpool team has travelled to France for their next pre-season fixtures.
The Reds surprisingly dropped their former first-choice goalie Simon Mignolet from the team, thereby fuelling speculations that he is on his way out of Anfield Stadium
Mignolet has been linked with a move to Besiktas, who sold their first-choice goalkeeper Fabri to Premier League new-comers Fulham.
The Turkish side have set their eyes on the Belgian goaltender as Fabri’s replacement and they might complete their move for his services before next week.
Should he remain at the Anfield Stadium beyond this summer, the goalie will become the club’s third choice goalie behind summer signing Alisson Becker and Loris Karius in that order.
Liverpool is presently in France as part of their pre-season program but they won’t engage in any match in the European country.
After five days in France, the Reds will head to Dublin, where they will tackle Serie A side Napoli in another friendly match.
As for Karius, the error-prone goalie hasn’t decided his next move concerning his future. It is all but confirmed that Alisson will be ahead of him in the pecking order next season which means his game-time will drastically reduce in the coming season
Liverpool will begin their 2018-19 Premier League campaign against West Ham United on the 12th of August.
