Premier League giants Manchester United are on the brink of completing their move for Chelsea and Brazil winger Willian, according to Starsport.
The Red Devils manager has been chasing after the player’s signature since last winter but the Blues prevented all his bids from materializing.
Despite Chelsea’s move to stop him, the Portuguese tactician reignited his desire to capture him this summer and he is on the verge luring him to Old Trafford if the report from Starsport is anything to go by.
According to the media outlet, Willian will be heading to the Theater of Dreams next week as they claimed that the Blues have accepted a £66m offer from Mourinho. It should be recalled that Barcelona’s £55m bid was rejected by Chelsea, who want more from the Blaugranas.
Manchester United have been quiet so far this summer and that has upset Mourinho, who claims that the club’s hierarchy are not helping him in his mission to win trophies in the coming season.
They have signed just three signings this summer and that is surely not enough for a team who want to do well in the Premier League.
In other United transfer news, Gary Cahill could be on his way to joining the Red Devils this summer as the Blues are hoping to cash in on his service
The England international didn’t get much game-time under Conte throughout last season and that might not change in the coming season as he seems not to be in Sarri’s plan for next football calendar.
He is hoping to reunite with the Portuguese manager in the coming season so as to get quality game-time at the Theater Of Dreams.
