Michy Batshuayi Set For Another Loan Move.
Chelsea and Belgium striker Michy Batshuayi could be on his way to Valencia on a season-long loan deal this summer as it appears he’s not in Sarri’s plan for the coming season.
The Belgian was with Bundesliga club Borussia Dortmund during the previous season as he was loaned to the club for more game time.
His spell at the Westfalenstadion was awesome as he scored in his first three matches he played with the team.
He proved Antonio Conte wrong for his decision to loan him out as he performed brilliantly for Dortmund.
Unfortunately, the player picked up an unfortunate injury which abruptly ended his good performances last season.
It was reported last month that Dortmund are hoping to sign the 24-year-old on a permanent basis this summer but the Blues are not ready to sanction his permanent move away from the Stamford Bridge Stadium.
However, the report emerging from the Blues camp this morning claims that Spanish side Valencia are enquiring the possibility of getting the striker on a season-long loan this summer.
Valencia are set to upgrade their attacking prowess ahead of the coming season and they believe Batshuayi is one of the players who could help them score plenty of goals when the season begins.
The player is currently on vacation due to his participation at the World Cup, though, he played a little impact on Belgian’s run to the tournament’s bronze medal.
How Chelsea can benefit from Giroud’s national team spark
Chelsea fans saw a different Olivier Giroud for his France national team when he scored a goal to help his country go past Iceland by 4-0.
The former Arsenal striker has not been firing for the West London outfit which is the reason why he has been handed a limited playing time by manager Maurizio Sarri.
Olivier Giroud is already being linked away from the West London club as a result of his lack of playing time as he feels he deserves better despite the goal drought that has been experienced in his Blues jersey.
The same was seen of the striker at the 2018 FIFA World Cup where he was present in all of the games for the France team but failed to score a single goal.
However, a different Olivier Giroud was seen against Iceland as he scored a goal to make a name for himself as the 3rd highest goal scorer for the France national team.
He has now scored 35 goals behind Michel Platini who scored 41 and Thierry Henry who left the stage with 51 goals.
Suggestions are that this development for Olivier Giroud could help him return to the Stamford Bridge to provide the spark for the Sarri team so that they can push for a top-four finish as well as winning the Europa League title.
Chelsea star rubbished in big transfer claim
Belgium international and West London outfit Chelsea star Eden Hazard has been unwittingly told that he is no longer good for the Spanish La Liga outfit Real Madrid team anymore.
This is from a statement credited to the former Chelsea striker Chris Sutton who says that the Spanish giants should have their attention focused of Man City star Raheem Sterling and not Eden Hazard in the coming summer window.
It is no longer news that Real Madrid is keen on the signature of the Belgium star with claims that manager Zinedine Zidane has made a request for his signature despite the refusal of the West London outfit to part ways with him.
However, the former Chelsea striker has told Real Madrid that they can have a better quality with Raheem Sterling as he is currently firing for both his country and Man City at the club side.
The Chelsea legend stressed that Raheem Sterling is a world class player who has all the attribute needed at Real Madrid to succeed, explaining that he is a better player than the Belgium international.
Raheem Sterling has been praised for his movement, pass and goal scoring ability which has been helpful for Pep Guardiola in his push for second consecutive EPL title.
Chelsea finally get good news on transfer ban
English Premier League outfit Chelsea will now breath fresh air as they have been told that their appeal for the transfer ban would be heard by the world football governing body on April 11.
This means that the West London outfit have got a chance to engage in this coming summer transfer window should they succeed in the appeal.
It would be recalled that the West London outfit were handed ban, not to engage in the next two transfer window after they were found guilty of international transfer and registration of players under the age of 18.
As soon as the judgment was passed, the Blues’ management in their reaction vowed to appeal the ban and this could be the time for them to be heard by FIFA.
This brings hope that the ban could be listed fully or it could be reduced, depending on their argument and the evidence they have to tender.
It has therefore been hinted that the West London outfit will not give up even if they lose in the appeal as they will proceed to the Court of Arbitration for Sports to make their case.
However, it is suggested that the transfer ban will in many ways determine the fate of the club in next season’s competitions.
Kante gives perfect reply to Chelsea exit talks
France international N’Golo Kante has reacted to claims that he would be leaving the West London outfit Chelsea to join Spanish La Liga outfit Real Madrid.
It is claimed that the former Leicester City star is unhappy at the Stamford Bridge under Maurizio Sarri because of the decision to shift him to a more advanced role in the midfield, different from his natural role.
When asked if he would jump at any offer from the Spanish La Liga outfit Real Madrid, he refused to be linked with the speculations as he made it clear that he is a Chelsea player and will not want to be drawn into talks with other clubs.
He noted that he has targets at the West London outfit and will want to have it accomplished even before his move.
N’Golo Kante has made it clear that he has no issue with where he plays or not as he is happy and willing to play anywhere the manager wants him to be.
However, the Chelsea team have not been able to meet with their target and they are in the risk of missing out of the Champions League for the second year because of their inability to remain in the top-four.
“Frustrated” at lack of playing time, Christensen drops big transfer hint, Hazard future
Chelsea star Andreas Christensen who is frustrated at his lack of playing time at the Stamford Bridge has dropped a big hint on the transfer plans of the players at the club and his future as well.
Left to Andreas Christensen, he would have pushed for a move away from the club as he has not been favoured with playing time in the manager Maurizio Sarri team.
But the coming transfer window will be a no-go area for the West London outfit as they have been banned from the next two transfer window by the world football governing body FIFA because of an offence of involving deals of players under 18.
However, Andreas Christensen has revealed that the players have been told by the club that no one would be leaving, including Belgium international Eden Hazard because they will not be able to appeal the ruling against them.
This, therefore, means that Eden Hazard might not secure his dream move away from the Stamford Bridge at the end of the season to Spanish La Liga outfit Real Madrid.
However, it is unclear what the Belgium international would do as he could force his way out of the club against the wish of the management.
Another former Chelsea player reveals the incredible reason why he left Stamford Bridge
Former Chelsea player and legend Florent Malouda has revealed why he was forced to leave the Stamford Bridge against his wish at the time he did so.
The Chelsea legend spent six seasons with the West London outfit where he won a Premier League title and three FA Cups, to add to the UEFA Champions League he won with the Blues team.
All of the feats ended in the other way round as Florent Malouda was unhappy at the club in his last season because he was asked to take an £80,000 pay cut during the summer which he refused.
The result for him was to be left out of the Blues squad from all of the competitions they competed in before he left to Turkey to join Trabzonspor the next summer.
Now that it is history, Florent Malouda, who spoke on the Legend of Legends, said his last days at the West London outfit was not funny because there was a serious disagreement with the club.
He, therefore, exposed that there were threats and conspiracy against him, just like it was done with Nikolas Anelka and Alex after they won the Champions League.
Florent Malouda concluded by stating that he was a victim because he was not scared of how he would have been treated for speaking out his mind.
How Mourinho “killed me”, former Chelsea star
Former Chelsea star and Nigerian international John Obi Mikel has lamented how his career fell short of expectation under the former boss Jose Mourinho in the early days of his career at the Stamford Bridge.
John Obi Mikel recalled how he first got sent off in his first game for the Blues because of the speed of the game which took him a while to understand.
It would be recalled that the Super Eagles captain joined the West London outfit in 2006 from Lyn Oslo at the age of 19 after Man United failed to secure his signature because of his impressive performance during the 2005 U-20 World Cup in the Netherlands where he was the tournament’s second best player.
At that time, John Obi Mikel had gotten offers from a number of top European clubs before he opted for the West London outfit and he almost regretted the decision during his early days because of the demands of the manager and the pace of the league.
He recalled how he was naughty and most at times got late to training as well as wear the wrong dress code but he was later put through by the Portuguese manager who will not take any excuse for wrongdoings.
Four of EPL top-six clubs fight for Serie A defender
There is no doubt that a number of top English Premier League sides are struggling with their defence will seek to strengthen as soon as the summer transfer window is reopened.
It is reported that English Premier League sides Chelsea, Liverpool, Man United and Arsenal are all in the race for the signature of Inter Milan defender Milan Skriniar ahead of the coming summer transfer window.
The West London outfit are looking forward to part with a number of their players including David Luiz and that is the reason why they need Milan Skriniar as an option as they intend to challenge for the league title next season.
The Blues are struggling to be in the top four of the English Premier League as they face competition from Arsenal and Man United, having lost a number of games.
However, the West London outfit are in the quarter-finals of the Europa League and there are fears that they could still play at that level in the coming season, should they fail to secure qualification.
Meanwhile, there is a need to strengthen the team, and Milan Skriniar has been tipped to be a good fit for the club. He is suggested to cost Chelsea as little as £30 million.
Man United Join Race To Sign Chelsea Winger
Premier League giants Manchester United have joined the race to sign highly-rated Chelsea winger Callum Hudson-Odoi.
This is according to reports coming out of the media in the United Kingdom.
The Daily Mail revealed that Manchester United are ready to fight other interested clubs for the young England international winger.
Callum Hudson-Odoi has previously been linked with clubs like Borussia Dortmund, Liverpool and Bayern Munich.
German champions Bayern Munich tried to sign him during the winter transfer window but Chelsea stood firm in the face of several bids from the Bavarian giants.
Chelsea rejected at least five bids from Bayern Munich for Callum Hudson-Odoi in January.
The young English winger submitted a transfer request amidst the interest from Bayern Munich but it was rejected by senior officials at the club.
Chelsea want to keep the 18-year-old at Stamford Bridge though Bayern Munich have already revealed their desire to pursue their interest in him when the transfer window reopens in the summer.
Hudson-Odoi has just over a year on his current deal at Chelsea.
He made his debut for the Three Lions of England two days ago during the 5-0 win over Czech Republic at the Wembley Stadium.
Callum Hudson-Odoi came on as a second-half substitute for hat-trick hero Raheem Sterling.
Jorginho fails again for Italy
Chelsea fans will now have something to refer to when it comes to the gist about Jorginho as he struggled for his Italy national team in their 2-0 win against Finland.
The former Napoli star has been in the black book of the Chelsea supporters over what is perceived as poor performance, especially in the games that were lost in the season.
A number of pundits and former players have asked Maurizio Sarri to sack the Italian from the starting XI or make room for another role for him but he has been reluctant as the former Napoli boss stated that Jorginho is best for the deep role in the team.
Because of the presence of Jorginho, Maurizio Sarri pushed away France powerhouse N’Golo Kante from his natural role and have him play a more advanced role. This has not gone well with the club supporters and that has been one of the issues with the manager.
However, Jorginho could not prove Chelsea fans wrong at the national side as he struggled throughout his stay on the pitch.
Suggestions are that the former Napoli player would be the scapegoat in the Chelsea team and might be shown the way out when it is time to make some squad adjustments.
