Arsenal Offer Aaron Ramsey a New Deal – Reports.
Arsenal midfielder Aaron Ramsey has been tipped by pundits to leave the club as he is some months from ending his current contract with the North London club.
The Welshman is one of the longest Arsenal serving players and many believe it is high time he leaves the club for another challenge elsewhere.
The player has been inspirational for the Gunners over the years and Unai Emery will surely need his experience and leadership to achieve success in his first season at the Emirates Stadium next season.
Having sold Jack Wilshere to West Ham last week, the Gunners are not ready to let go of another homegrown player and they have reportedly offered him a five-year contract deal, that’s according to the Mirror.
The British Mirror revealed that the club’s hierarchy have decided to keep the Welshman for more seasons by offering him an option to stay for five years.
In the report, Ramsey’s agent is in talks with the club over the contract as they are yet to agree on the financial status of the offer.
Meanwhile, when asked about his future by a Sky Sports reporter, the player confessed his desire to remain at the Emirates Stadium beyond this summer but it all depends on the outcome of his agent’s discussion with the club.
Ramsey is presently in the Gunners camp in Singapore for their pre-season matches.
