Unai Emery Set To Offload Danny Welbeck.
Arsenal manager Unai Emery is willing to let go of England international Danny Welbeck, whose time at Arsenal hasn’t been successful.
The winger /attacker joined the Gunners from Manchester United following his brilliant displays for the Reds Devils in 2013 during Arsene Wenger’s reign.
The player was hoping to continue his development under the Frenchman but that wasn’t the case as he was a flop for the team throughout the time he’s spent so far with the team, though, injuries have played a big part in destroying his career.
With a new manager in the team, the player, who has returned to full fitness, will be hoping to gain Unai Emery’s trust ahead of next season so as to feature regularly for the team.
However, it might be too late for him to do so as reports emanating from the Emirates Stadium suggest that the former Paris St-Germain’s boss is looking at the possibility of parting ways with him this summer.
According to the Sun in one of their transfer rumours this morning, Welbeck is not in the Manager’s plan for next season, therefore, he could be told to join another club before the start of the coming season.
The Sun further claim that Everton are set to make a £15m bid for his signature as part of Marco Silva’s desire to upgrade his team ahead of next season.
Having stayed for four seasons at the Emirates Stadium, the Englishman has only managed to score 15 goals in all competitions.
