Liverpool On The Verge Of Completing Vida Move.

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp signed Roma goalkeeper Alisson Becker for a deal which is believed to £66.8m last week as he finally finds a long-term solution to his goalkeeping crisis.

Meanwhile, there is still a need to sign a new defender before the start of next season as the Reds look ordinary at the back at some point in the previous campaign.

Klopp is set to complete a deal for Besiktas defender Vida, who was awesome for Croatia in Russia.

The defender’s disciplined displays throughout the tournament has endeared him to many clubs in Europe including West, Everton and Liverpool.

However, according to Turkish media outlet Miliyet, the Reds are leading the race for his signature as they have reportedly sent the delegates to Turkey to seal a deal with the Turkish side in coming days.

The source also revealed that the Reds are not going to pay any less than €30m if they must capture his signature this summer.

Besiktas are set to make huge profit from the player’s sale to Liverpool. Vida joined the club as free agent but he could be leaving the team as a €30m-rated defender.

Vida will surely be a good addition to the Merseyside club next season as he would develop a strong partnership with Virgil Van Dijk and his compatriot Dejan Lovren at the Heart of the club’s defences.
