Done Deal Arsenal Reach Agreement with Porto Over Youngster’s Future
Arsenal have signed five players at the ongoing summer transfer market, so, it is important that their new manager Unai Emery offload some of his players to other clubs.
Nigerian youngster Kelechi Nwakali has become the latest player to be sent on loan by the former Paris St-German manager this summer.
The 19-year-old player was lively for Nigeria in a friendly match against Atletico Madrid in June, making the Gunners fans ask for his inclusion in the club’s first-team squad ahead of the coming season.
Despite his obvious quality at the middle of the pitch, the youngster can’t be integrated into the senior squad as he’s yet to get his work permit papers.
Until he gets the documents and other necessary paperwork, Nwakali won’t get the chance to play in the Premier League.
However, the Gunners have sanctioned his move to Portuguese League as he will team-up with Porto in the coming season.
While confirming the deal via their official Twitter handle, the Gunners wish him a great time at the Premiera League next season.
There are speculations that the playmaker will need to prove his worth with the club’s youth setup before he can be promoted to the senior squad, should he perform brilliantly for the feeders team.
