Manchester United Manager Jose Mourinho is presently confused on the kind of players he wants to get this summer.
The Portuguese manager has signed three players so far but reports claimed he didn’t know if there will be more signings or not.
According to the Manchester Evening News, the Red Devils have not been active as expected by their fans and to make things worse, Mourinho seems not to have control over the kind of players he wants to work with in the coming season.
When asked by the press, ahead of his team’s journey to the United States for their pre-season tour, whether there are new players coming into his team before the end of the ongoing transfer market, the manager surprisingly replied “no idea.”
This means the Red Devils might fail to bring new players to Old Trafford this summer, though, the team still need some reinforcement in some positions such as the right-back and left-back.
So far, the former Chelsea and Porto manager has signed Brazilian midfielder Fred from Shakhtar Donetsk; Diogo Dalot from Porto and Lee Grant from Stoke City.
However, amid Mourinho’s confused state, the Reds are linked with Bayern Munich duo Thiago Alcantara, and Robert Lewandowski.
They are also said to be tracking Russian youngster Aleksandr Golovin as they want to upgrade their attacking threat in the coming season.
