Chelsea Reignite Interest In Milinkovic-Savic
Chelsea are once again interested in Lazio midfielder Sergej Milinkovic-savic this summer, having seen their first bid rejected by the Serie A club.
The Stamford Bridge outfits initially tabled a £30m offer for the player in January but the offer was turned down by Lazio, who weren’t ready to lose him.
However, the Serie A side are tipped to part way with the Serbian international this summer and the Blues have moved swiftly for his signature.
Maurizio Sarri is aiming to get a strong team before the start of the next season, therefore, he has charged his employers to capture the Serbian player as part of his reinforcing process.
However, Manchester United are very much in the race to capture the world cup star. Mourinho has been a long time admirer of the attacking midfielder and reports via Corriere dello Sport claim the Portuguese is still hoping to lure hunting Old Trafford this window.
The 23-year-old was influential for Lazio throughout last campaign, he scored 12 goals with four assist to established himself as one of the best midfielders in Europe.
Though Serbia crashed out of Russia 2018 world cup at the ground stage, Milinkovic-Savic was awesome in all the three matches played by the European nation.
