Jurgen Klopp Wants Two New Players.
Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has revealed his transfer plans to media, according to the latest reports emanating from Anfield Stadium. The German tactician is still hoping to get two new players ahead of next season.
Having captured three midfielders — including Naby Keita — so far this summer, the tactician had turned his attention to upgrading his goalkeeping and attacking department.
The Reds are presently without a world-class goaltender, no disrespect to Loris Karius and Simon Mignolet, and the German tactician is desperately seeking for a netminder who is capable of making point-blank saves.
He was linked with a move for Roma and Brazilian netminder Alisson Becker last winter but nothing materializes between both clubs.
He is once again tipped to make another offer for the impressive Brazilian this summer by many bookmakers.
Klopp told reporters last night while unveiling Xhender Shaqiri that he is hoping to find a good goalie that would serve as his first-choice ahead of the 2018-19 season.
The Reds are also looking at the prospect of adding a playmaker to his squad.
Though the former Borussia Dortmund boss has already confirmed Keita and Fabinho – both of whom can perfectly as a playmaker, the Reds are keen on bringing another attacking midfielder to Anfield Stadium as a replacement for Phillippe Coutinho, who joined Barcelona in January.
