Manchester United Develop Interest In Harry Maguire

Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho is impressed with what he has seen so far from England’s Center-back Harry Maguire at the ongoing FIFA World Cup in Russia.

The Portuguese manager, who is a world cup pundit for a football channel, is pleased with the displays put up by the Leicester City’s defender for the Three Lions and he wants to add the player to his team ahead of next season.

According to Daily Mail, Mourinho is in need of a new, strong and quality defender who would bolster his team’s defensive abilities during the upcoming season. The British publication further revealed that the Portuguese manager might make an official approach to the player’s agent in coming days.

Maguire joined the Foxes in a deal worth only £17m from Hull last summer but there is a great increment to his market value due to his blistering performances with the English team, who lost 2-1 to Croatia at the semi-finals stage of the world’s greatest football fiesta.

The Red Devils boss is reportedly set to make a £50m move for his signature this summer before he begins to draw many suitors after the tournament.

With Eric Bailly, Marcos Rojo and Luke Shaw, Phil Jones, Chris Smalling and Daley Blind all linked with a move out of Trafford, the Sheffield-born defender might be a good addition to the team next season.

Having played six matches for England in Russia, the 25-year-old has scored a single goal but that didn’t take anything away from his overall performances.

Aaron Ramsey

Italian Serie A champions Juventus have taken a big step in the race to sign in-demand Arsenal midfielder Aaron Ramsey after they offered the Welsh international star a mouthwatering contract.

Juventus are bidding to sign the 27-year-old on a free transfer at the end of the current season.

According to the report from renowned English media outlet The Sun, Juventus have offered Aaron Ramsey an irresistible contract.

The former Cardiff City playmaker has been offered a weekly salary of £200,000 by the Old Lady.

The aforementioned publication claimed that the Italian giants have offered him a contract worth £10.4m on a yearly basis.

The new development has propelled Juventus to the front of the queue for the Welshman.

The Independent had earlier in the week revealed that Bavarian giants Bayern Munich have emerged as favourites for Ramsey in the wake of a breakthrough in negotiations between club officials and his representatives.

The battle to sign Aaron Ramsey is expected to continue between now and 2019.

He’s on his way out of Arsenal after the Gunners failed to offer him a new contract despite the fact that he has less than a year on his current deal at the Emirates Stadium.

Apart from Juventus and Bayern Munich, clubs like Manchester United, Liverpool and Chelsea have also been linked with Ramsey.

Liverpool forward Sadio Mane was booed by the Senegal fans in their win against Equatorial Guinea during the African Nations Cup Qualifiers game.

The Senegal international who was hurt by the booing from his own countrymen left the pitch in tears as he was consoled by his teammates who were unhappy with the display by the fans.

Senegal have already confirmed their qualification for the biggest continent’s tournament but there are still fears that the Reds forward may have picked up an injury.

The situation was later confirmed by the Senegalese media which claimed that Sadio Mane was booed because of his performance in the game.

There are suggestions that he intentionally gave that level of performance in order to be fit and available for his England club football which they claim should not be more important than Mane’s fatherland.

It would be recalled that the Senegal international sustained a thumb injury while on international duty last month which ruled him out of the second half of the game.

The fans that were unhappy at his absence are of the opinion that he has given more to club football than he has to the national side which is unacceptable to them.

However, the Liverpool fans stormed Twitter platform to console their beloved player as well as defend him.

Fabinho

Emerging reports indicate that Liverpool might let Fabinho leave in the summer despite joining the club in the summer from French side Monaco.

According to reports from The Daily Mirror, the decision of the Reds to let the player leave is because of their need for Borussia Dortmund starlet Christian Pulisic.

Liverpool are seeking to make use of the funds gotten from the sale of the former Monaco man to fund the deal for Jordan Henderson in the January transfer window.

The Brazilian joined the Anfield in the summer and he has yet to make any mark with not enough starting roles. It has been earlier reported that Fabinho is seeking a way out of the club with Italian giants AC Milan and Juventus all seeking to have his signature.

However, Liverpool are desperate to have Christian Pulisic and they are reported to be in a hurry to sign him before they are being overtaken by other suitors.

Christian Pulisic is highly rated amongst young players with Manchester United and Chelsea seeking to snatch him from Liverpool as he is believed to be having the qualities to fit into the English Premier League.

However, Liverpool are bent on having more additions to their squad having vowed to give the league title race a good fight.

Chelsea are believed to have gone a step further in their bid to sign West Ham United striker Marko Amautovic.

Latest report reveals that the West London side have beaten rivals Manchester United for the footballer as they have held advance talks with him.

The Stamford Bridge side are keen on adding more options to the attack with their both strikers Olivier Giroud and Alvaro Morata not firing this season.

Both former Arsenal and Real Madrid Players have been inconsistent in their performances which have forced the club to be in search for new players.

Although, manager Maurizio Sarri is of the opinion that the both strikers should not be blamed so as not to mount pressure on them as he believes they will bounce back soon.

The Italian boss also praised the World Cup winner for his impact in the team explaining that he might not score goals but have been able to create chances for others to score.

However, the lastest report says Sarri is now ready to add more options with Marko Amautovic and he is willing to pay within the sum of £30 million.
