Latest update on Chelsea link with Barcelona’s Suarez in January

Denis Suarez

Chelsea are reportedly making move to sign Barcelona star Denis Suarez in the January transfer window.

The move is being pursued by the Blues manager Maurizio Sarri who is keen to work with the player after failing to have him at Napoli when he was working in Italy.

Sarri sees Chelsea as more attractive than the Italian Serie A side hence, he wants to make use of the opportunity to lure Suarez to the Stamford Bridge.

Also, the Italian boss is believed to be aware of the situation at Barcelona where Suarez is unhappy as a result of lack of playing time. He is expected to force a move should the Spanish side fail to let him go.

Despite his quality, Suarez has made just one appearance for the Spanish giants this season as he is far behind in the pecking order of the long list of the Barcelona midfield.

The West London side have been linked with a number of talents at the middle in the past weeks with Paris St Germain player Adrien Rabiot and Arsenal’s midfielder Aaron Ramsey making the list.

Meanwhile, Suarez will expect to face another dimension of competition at the Stamford Bridge should a deal fall through because of the many legs available in the team.

The Mirror reports that Loftus-Cheek has been shortlisted by West Ham as potential additions for the January transfer market.

However, there is no conviction at the moment that the West London side will be willing to part ways with the England international knowing that his introductions into the team have been impactful and given good results.

With two years left to the end of his contract t the club, Loftus-Cheek will be sure of his stay at the Stamford Bridge further than the two the two years if the club management calls him for negotiations for a new deal.

Daniele Rugani

Chelsea have long been linked with Juventus central defender Daniele Rugani with a deal seeming difficult but latest development hints that this could be the time to have the player.

This is because of the reports that negotiations between the club and Rugani’s representatives have stalled which means he might be forced to leave.

Reports, therefore, claims that there are no talks on the table at the moment with the player which places the West London side in the best position to have the central defender at the Stamford Bridge.

Manager Maurizio Sarri is believed to be a fan of the central defender and will not hesitate on a bid for him once the transfer window opens so as to have his signature.

There are no fears of release clause for the player knowing that the Chelsea boss has won the heart of his employers and has been given the backing to have some deals done in the January window.

Suggestions are that the West London club will ensure Rugani who is of a younger age comes in as a replacement for Gary Cahill whose future at the Stamford Bridge is unsure.

A deal for Rugani could only mean the end for Cahill at the Stamford Bridge.

Eden Hazard

The speculations linking Belgium star player Eden Hazard away from the Stamford Bridge has awakened again after weeks of Spanish giants preparing a perfect combination at the club.

There is no doubt that the interest for Hazard remains strong for the Spanish giants and they have perfected plans according to reports to ensure the addition of James Rodriguez.

Rodriguez who was in and out of the Zinedine Zidane team was sent on a 2-year loan to German giants Bayern Munich and has since picked his great form.

However, the Spanish giants hints they will soon demand for the return of the player but wants him to link up with Chelsea playmaker so as to help turn things around at the club.

Real Madrid have struggled this season since the exit of their former French manager in addition to sacking their manager who is described as unfit for the job having recorded some defeats.

The Los Blancos are looking forward to matching their rivals Barcelona who are doing good this season and also defeated Madrid in the first El Classico game of the season.

jamaal lascelles

Chelsea and Tottenham are reported to be going head-to-head for Newcastle United central defender Jamaal Lascelles having identified him as a top target for the January transfer window.

Both clubs have identified the Magpies captain as the ideal signing but they may have to do more to have his signature following reports that his current employers are preparing a new lucrative offer for Jamaal Lascelles that will have him remain at the St James Park.

Reports according to the Chronicle Live say the two London clubs will not be deterred but will keep monitoring the situation at the club and have their bid ready for the January transfer window.

Chelsea are being placed in a better situation to have Jamaal Lascelles because of their position in the Premier League table as well as the position of the Magpies who are currently being threatened with relegation.

There are no chances that Jamaal Lascelles will remain with the club at their struggling state as he will only want to remain in the top flight and not play in the Championship.

Manager Rafa Benitez will be banking on the funds that would be made available to him to recruit more players to save the situation at the club.
