Manchester City Sign Ryad Mahrez.

The transfer market is currently ongoing and clubs are becoming more involved in making deals with their counterparts for players they believed will help them achieve their respective dreams in the coming season.

Arsenal, Manchester United, Liverpool have all completed some impressive signings and they are still interested in many more.

However, Manchester City have joined the party as the confirmed their first summer signing last night after capturing services of Leicester City forward Ryad Mahrez.

The Algerian star has been a source of transfer rumours for more than two seasons as he was heavily linked with a move to the Gunners during Arsene Wenger’s reign.

Though the Frenchman tried all he could to get the 28-year-old winger, his efforts were insufficient to convince the player to dump the King Power outfits.

Last season, Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola almost lure him to the Etihad Stadium but he failed in his mission to do so as Leicester hierarchy prevented the deal from materializing.

The Spanish manager finally got his longtime target last night when the impressive and skilful winger penned a three-year contract with the Citizens in a deal which is believed to be £60m, according to the Mirror. He is now the club’s most expensive player.

He played 179 matches for the Foxes, scoring 48 goals in the process.
