Arsenal Lose Third Player As Hugo Keto Departs Emirates Stadium.
Arsenal have reportedly lost their third player at the current transfer window as they youth team goalkeeper Hugo Keto leaves the club.
Having lost Santi Cazorla, Jack Wilshere earlier this summer, the Gunners hierarchy were planning of bringing new players to replace them but that seems not to be the case as they have recently lost another youngster, who possesses great potentials to become the club’s first-choice goaltender in the nearest future.
It was reported via all rumor carriers that the Brighton Albion completed a move for the 20-year-old netminder.
Keto signed a two-year contract with the Premier League side and be will be hoping he gets regular first-team actions for the Albion in the coming season.
Having seen his contract with the North London club expired last month, the impressive young Gunner believes it is time to pursue a regular action with a senior squad elsewhere, so he preferred a switch to Brighton, hoping he achieve his dreams for next season.
Keto, 20, joined the Gunners from Finland club HJK Helsinki in 2014 but he failed in his attempt to get a spot in Arsene Wenger’s main squad, though, he was given some chances to man the post during FA Cup matches against some minnows.
While reacting to Keto’s move to their team, Brighton Under-23 manager Simon Rusk told reporters he is happy to have him at the club and he will watch him closely during the pre-season tournament to help him improve in some aspects of his game.
