According to media reports, Premier League side Chelsea are allegedly set to rival East London club West Ham for the signing of Felipe Anderson as they ready a €30 million offer for the player.
Chelsea set for key statement
Il Tempo, as quoted on Sport Witness, claims that the West London club are looking to make a major statement in the summer transfer market, preparing the team for the arrival of Italian tactician Maurizio Sarri.
The Italian boss that was only recently fired by Napoli and replaced by former Chelsea manager Carlo Ancelotti is expected to succeed former Italy and Juventus manager Antonio Conte at Stamford Bridge in the next couple of days and is a known fan of the Chelsea target-Anderson.

West Ham have been strongly linked with a transfer for Anderson all through the summer transfer window, but the two teams are yet to agree to a transfer fee.
The player is thought to be keen on a transfer to the English Premier League, but the long talks are dragging the deal.
It is yet to be discovered how serious the interest of 2017 premier League champions Chelsea is, with Serie A side Lazio already asking for close to €40 million from West Ham United, with the latter hoping to seal a dual transfer deal for Anderson and the Junior brother of Manchester United defender Romelu Lukaku, Jordan Lukaku.
